Autonomous swarms Built in the UK

Many eyes.
One picture.

Autonomous drone swarms that search wide, see in the dark and share one live map. Built for rescue. Ready for defence.

01 — Two missions

Same swarm. Different ground.

Search & Rescue

Find them faster.

When someone is missing on a hill at night, every minute counts. A Corvalir swarm splits the ground, flies it in parallel and flags every person it sees for your team to check.

  • Thermal + RGB detectionHeat and AI vision, fused on each drone.
  • A position on every findGPS fix and thumbnail, straight to the laptop.
  • Light the wayOn confirmation, the drone holds and lights the spot with its searchlight.
  • People decideEvery alert is confirmed by an operator.

Defence

Eyes on the ground ahead.

The same swarm gives small teams persistent awareness over ground they can't cover on foot, and is being developed to find, track and designate targets. Built to be fielded in numbers. Smart enough to keep working when drones are lost.

  • ISR & reconnaissanceWide-area search with thermal and RGB.
  • Perimeter overwatchDay and night, on a shared live map.
  • Force protectionEarly warning, so people stay further back.
  • Attritable by designLose a drone and the swarm re-tasks itself.

Strike variants in development.

02 — How it works

Small drones. Shared mind.

Each drone is simple and attritable. Together they search like a team: dividing the work, sharing what they've seen and covering for each other.

Prototype — field test
  1. 01

    Swarm

The search area is gridded into 25 m cells and shared out. Each drone flies its own autonomous search pattern.

  2. 02

    Detect

A thermal camera and an AI person detector run together on board, then geolocate each find.

  3. 03

    Mesh

Drones talk directly over an ESP-NOW mesh, keeping one coverage map. If one drops out, the rest take its ground.

  4. 04

    Command

Plan, launch and recall the whole swarm from one laptop app. An operator confirms every alert.

03 — Field

In the dark. In the weather.

04 — About

Built in Britain.

Corvalir is a new British company building autonomous drone swarms built to be fielded in numbers.

We design, print and write the software ourselves, here in the UK. One rule runs through all of it: the swarm finds; people decide.

  • Mass by designBuilt to be fielded in numbers, and to keep working when some are lost.
  • Human in the loopNo drone acts on a find without a person's say-so.
  • Fail safeEvery drone knows its way home.
